1. Acceptance
By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Separate written agreements govern any attorney partnership, administrative support services, payment terms, confidentiality obligations, and onboarding requirements.
2. Non-Law-Firm Boundary
Scale Counsel LLC is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, does not represent clients, and does not create attorney-client relationships. Legal services are provided only by independent licensed attorneys.
3. Attorney Independence
Partner attorneys retain independent professional judgment, client approval authority, conflict-check responsibility, final legal review, engagement authority, and sign-off responsibility. Scale Counsel does not direct or control legal advice.
4. Administrative Support
Scale Counsel may provide marketing, profile support, intake coordination, scheduling, administrative drafting support, and operational follow-up within the scope authorized by the attorney and the applicable agreement.
5. Payments
Any administrative or marketing fee owed to Scale Counsel is governed by the written agreement. Attorneys remain responsible for handling legal fees, platform requirements, client funds, trust accounting duties, tax obligations, and applicable professional rules.
6. No Guarantee
Scale Counsel may discuss revenue targets or historical operating goals, but no specific revenue outcome is guaranteed. Results depend on practice area, marketplace conditions, attorney responsiveness, client demand, pricing, reviews, and other factors.
